The Uniquely Abled Academy and Jobs Program

Looking for vocational programs that empower the uniquely abled? Look no further than The Uniquely Abled Project (UAP). UAP's two programs, The Uniquely Abled Academy and The Uniquely Abled Jobs Program, provide inclusive career employment opportunities for neurodiverse individuals.

The Uniquely Abled Academy is an intensive (13-16 week) career preparation program that equips individuals with the skills and training to succeed as a CNC Machine Operator. This first-of-its-kind program is the result of a collaboration between machine technology educators, specialists in autism education, state and local social service agencies, and nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Together, they provide training, support, and job placement services to create inclusive career opportunities for individuals on the spectrum.

The Uniquely Abled Jobs Program, on the other hand, focuses on placement and post-hire support for jobs that do not require prior training. With a 95% job placement rate, UAP is dedicated to giving everyone the opportunity for workplace success and recognizing the unique abilities and talents of their students.
